Publisher 2007 Upload Instructions

Before you may publish your website to the Just Host server, you will need to create an FTP location within Publisher.

To create an FTP location using Microsoft Publisher 2007:

  1. In Microsoft Publisher, from the File menu, click "Publish to the Web".
  2. In the Publish to the Web window, click Tools, and then click "Map Network Drive".
  3. In the Map Network Drive window, click "Connect to a Network Server".
    1. Click "Next".
    2. Click "Specify the address of of FTP site".
    3. Enter your hostname in "Network address" box eg. ftp://IPaddress/public_html where IPaddress is the IP address of your Just Host server. The IP address can be found in your cpanel in the left column 'stats', or by contacting Just Host technical support.
    4. Un-check "log on anonymously".
    5. Enter your username in the User name box eg. your 8-character cPanel username or custom FTP username. This information is found in your cPanel under the icon "FTP Accounts".
    6. Enter a name for this connection. eg. "My Website".
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Finish.
To upload site content using Microsoft Publisher 2007:
  1. In Microsoft Publisher, from the File menu, click "Publish to the Web".
  2. From the Save in list, click "FTP Locations".
  3. Select the appropriate domain name.
  4. Double-click the folder where you want to publish your site.
  5. Click Save.
